Letchworth State Park, New York.

The sun was setting over Letchworth State Park in Livingston County, New York. A mist hung in the air above the middle and upper falls, obscuring the picturesque railway bridge that spanned the Genesee River Gorge. The evening light shone through the mist, painting the sky in brilliant hues of pink, white and blue.

The cascading waters of the middle falls tumbled over the terraces in numerous white tendrils, creating a beautiful and peaceful interplay between the river and the surrounding woodlands. As the water settled in the pool below, its gentle ripples echoed in the stillness of the night.

The leaves had started to turn, their autumnal colors erupting through the woodlands and heralding the end of summer and the coming winter. Birdsong filled the air, while the chirping of crickets provided a soothing backdrop. All around, the peacefulness of the nature was palpable.

It was a sight to behold. As the sun descended below the horizon, the mist gradually began to clear, revealing the majestic view of the Genesee River Gorge. An awe-inspiring spectacle that reminded us of the beauty of nature and the power of its elements.
