The ferry from New York City plowed eastward along Lower Manhattan, with the cerulean-colored sky cut by a band of white cloud. The One World Trade Center looked majestic as it pierced through the clouds to the azure heavens above. The 17 State Street tower also mesmerized with its contemporary curved glass curtain wall.
The summer sea air filled the ferry, accompanying the gentle lull of the waves they plowed through. The sun shone, its golden-yellow light glinting off the majestic skyscrapers.
