Neilson Farm House, Saratoga National Historical Park.

The Neilson Farm House in Saratoga National Historical Park is a sentinel of bygone days, its sturdy walls carrying memories of revolutionary battles.

The shouts of soldiers in the heat of battle have been replaced by whispers from tourists, awed by this historic site. The sun beats down on the farmhouse and a cannon stands guard at the ready - as if waiting to hear the call of duty to defend the United States once again. Its barrel points like an accusing finger, daring any enemy that would cross its path.
