Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is a world-famous natural wonder located on the border between the United States and Canada. It is comprised of three separate waterfalls: the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. These falls collectively form Niagara Falls, which is renowned for its breathtaking beauty and immense power.
The falls are situated on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario. The river flows along the international border between the state of New York in the United States and the province of Ontario in Canada. The Horseshoe Falls, the largest and most iconic of the three, is mostly located on the Canadian side, while the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls are primarily on the American side.

The American Falls, which are separated from the Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island, are about 1,050 feet (320 meters) wide and have a drop that varies between 69 and 98 ft (21-30 meters). The Bridal Veil Falls, located next to the American Falls, are much smaller and have a width of around 56 feet (17 meters) and a drop of approximately 78 feet (24 meters).
Niagara Falls is renowned for the immense volume of water that flows over its precipices. It is estimated that more than 3,160 tons of water flows over the falls every second during peak flow. This makes Niagara Falls one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world.
