The sky was a spectacular explosion of oranges, pinks, and blues. It was one of those sunsets that captured your breath, and the sheer beauty of its hues cast a spell over the city. From the balcony, the photographer could take in the full view of the horizon. To the east, the sky melted from a deep blue to a gradient of whites and pinks. The Empire State Building, its mooring mast piercing the soft clouds above it, stood tall and proud at its center. Below it, Manhattan glimmered from the warm reflection of the sunset, while, far in the distance, the Hudson and New York Harbor also glowed in the fading light. It was a sight that stirred the photographers soul and reminded him of why he loved living in this city.
