The 7-line subway train snaked its way through Queens, the morning sun bathing its buildings in a beautiful golden light. Through the windows of the train, the hustle and bustle of the Queens borough was on full display, the warm colors of its buildings accentuated by the morning light. In the far distance, the skyline of Manhattan loomed, the sharp mooring mast of the Empire State Building rising above the sea of buildings like a lighthouse beacon.
