Times Square, Manhattan, New York City, NYC.

George Hodan had spent the better part of the morning capturing the beauty of Times Square. He had come to the city with visions of Broadway and showgirls, but he had found himself captivated by the afternoon drama that played out on the streets of Manhattan. With a keen eye for detail, he had been able to visualize the humanity and the emotions that ran through the veins of the city.

He had almost given up on the day when he saw something that made him forget everything else: a billboard above the Citizen and Starbucks storefronts with the word "Love" written in red over a crowd of people below. At that moment, George realized he had made his shot and knew it would take him to places he could only imagine.

The photograph was a paradox. Above the crowd was a single word, reminding everyone of the power of love, while the crowd below seemingly ignored the statement. The image spoke to the unnoticed beauty of love in the everyday. As he clicked the shutter of his camera, George knew that this was a moment to remember.
