Lower Manhattan was stunningly beautiful. In the night sky, the skyscrapers of Manhattan rose up like a million stars, their lights twinkling like a million promises. The One World Trade Center stood tall and proud, its spire a beacon of hope and resurrection. The Brooklyn Bridge was alive with traffic, a multicolored river of cars and trucks passing over its span. Lights from Brooklyn Bridge Park shone on the East River while Governors Island seemed to watch quietly from its place in the harbor.

At the center of it all, it seemed as if time had stood still, something in this nightscape transcending the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Everything was peaceful and still as if the entire city had paused for a moment to marvel at the beauty of the moment.

The air was crisp and cool, a refreshing contrast to the usual summer humidity. People strolled along the waterfront, enjoying the view and the gentle breeze. It was a night of perfection, a moment that would stay with Igor forever.
