It lies 3.5 miles west-south-west of Riverview, FL (from Riverview, FL: bearing 256°T), and is situated 8.0 miles south-east of Tampa. The landscape here is a low-slung affair, a gentle sweep of palmetto scrub and live oaks draped in Spanish moss, punctuated by weathered fishing boats and the occasional gleam of a mobile home’s aluminum siding.
